Default sway bars

i started to autocross my c6
do you think installing the z51 or z06 sway bars would make big differents?
will i need front or rears?

if yes where can i buy cheapest and do you think it is easy to install, or take to the shop?

Very easy DIY install/swap. Z51 bars unless you go to the Z06 size wheels and tires then the Z06 bars. And you need both. You have base suspension, right?

NO, wait till you get the bigger wheels. The Z06 rear bar will give you unsafe over steer with the standard wheels/tires. I think you will be happy with the Z51 bars even with larger wheels/tires but at least start there then decide later.

That link I gave you to Gene's post has the whole kit listed:

||--Z51 Sway Bar Kit--||

25919502 – Front stabilizer bar
10339124 – Rear stabilizer bar
10387838 (2) – Front stabilizer insulators
15241135 (2) – Rear stabilizer insulators

Complete kit front and rear is 108.46

I don't know if that price is still valid but even if it isn't he still has the best regular price.

Great mod...big difference in the way the car drives. Don't do the Z06 bars, do the Z51. Then replace the shocks with Bilsteins for $300 and you will be amazed!

I talked to Gene directly and the answer from him was use teh Z51 bars. Most of the reading I've done indicates the same.

Order from Gene. He's a great vendor and sells at a great price!
