Default Window indexing problem(s)

Window indexing problem(s) just started yesterday. Raised top on my 2009 and raised windows to secure it for the night. (It's outdoors for a bit due to some garage work ongoing.)

Driver's side window worked fine; passenger side window raised, then indexed whilst door was still closed...kept indexing rapidly until post shutdown power cut off. Same problem today.

I did try the corrective procedure as per the owner's manual. No effect.

Anyone have a solution before I take it to dealer? No worries in doing so but have a busy schedule the next few days that complicate the trip to the dealer.

Thanks, in advance.

Peace, out.

This has come up several times and mainly has been due to low battery. Check that first it may need replacing.

I had to disconnect my battery a week ago. When I hooked it back up, the windows would not index. I didn't have time to look up how to do it, then I forgot about it. The very next day, they indexed by themselves. Go figure.

Give this a try...Not sure if this applies, esp for 2009.

Default Update!!!! Wtf!!!

Took the car to local dealership to get repairs or make an appointment.

Here's what the service advisor said: "The owner said he will not perform any warranty service for any car not purchased here."

I said, "that's interesting," and walked out the door.

Called GM later and the agent there seemed surprised and shocked. He called the dealership and spoke to the service manager who professed ignorance of such a policy. Service manager is to call me...two (2) hours later and no call yet.

FTR, the local dealership is not a tiny one but they don't stock any Corvettes and allocations are limited per info from a friend who had to order his 2007...and wait quite a while.

Updates to follow...
