Navagation problem
I have an intermittent problem with my navi. I get "The Disc installed is not a map DVD". Sometimes it works. Does anyone know what the problem is?

If you drive in an extremely dusty environment, maybe the lens on the DVD read mechanism is dirty?

Your NAV system is going ... the reader could be dirty and you can try a cleaning disc , but most probably the condition you describe will get worse untill it starts freezing up completly .
Happened to my 07 three times in two years , for whatever reason .
I was also getting a screen that would black out and freeze .
Try cleaning it , but according to the service manager at my dealership , these NAV units go fairly often ...
