Mirror Disasssembly
Has anyone successfully removed the mirror assembly from a sunvisor and reinstalled it? I read in one posting that there are small tabs that tend to break if the mirror is pried off the visor. I'm ok with that as long as it can be reattached with double sided tape or some other way.
I bought a sunvisor with the homelink opener and would like to transfer the mirror from my existing visor to the homelink visor.
While researching this project, I also found some custom installations of the homelink transmitter in a C5 and C6(near the hatch and gas buttons). Are there other custom installtions out there that are not too terribly complicated. thanks
