I installed the Halltech stinger and recently added the shroud (it works with the stinger too) and cut out two holes in the bottom to allow a ram air effect into the sides of the filter intake... big difference.

Easy to answer this one. The MGW short throw shifter. It's everything the OEM "slop n' throw" isn't!

The very best value has to be lowering the car on stock bolts. No cost.......I'd have to say the body colored console and instrument panel pods is an awesome value. They really wake up the all black interior.

Default Best Mods

1. Exterior - wheels
2. Driving - tie between the MGW shifter and the CAGS eliminator
3. Interior - the DSV pieces (and soon to be replacement seat skins and instrument pod)
4. Audio - the SLP exhaust
5. Engine - the Pipe Dreams plenum cover.

Once you start down the path of the Dark Side (mods), forever will it control your Destiny!!

What kind of iPod input did you buy?

If you want an answer, probably better to message the guy or start a new thread instead of replying to a 37-year old thread.

Esthetics: ZO6 style front splitter side skirts
Interior: Toss up between painting center console to match body (DSOM) & replacing OEM stereo/NAV unit.
Performance: Haven't really done any MODs with the exception of adding CAI.

Having a 2007 with 1LT, the best mod were:

Kenwood Nav System and Kicker speakers.
Leatherseats.com seats and interior upgrade.
Corsa Sports with x-pipe.

Hard to say. All the usual bolt on mods improve the car.

I suppose if backed into a corner I would have to say going with the deeper gears (4:10's) Although it wasn't necessarily cheap, it does transform how the car drives.

But without the suspension upgrades the car would not be as drivable. (sways and shocks)

Going to the non RF is another.

When I upgraded to a Sirius Sat Tuner I 'broke into' the wiring harness and installed a switching jack in my center console.

Select the XM Band on the Radio and then plug into the jack and the Sat Tuner audio signal is replaced with my IPOD audio.

Very easy mod to create an input for any kind of music player/phone.

I used 1/4" jack/plug because the switching contacts are more robust than 1/8" mini jack, but either will work fine.

I can't believe the Vitesse throttle controller hasn't been tagged yet. It gets my vote.

I agree it's a great product but I'd say that it wasn't mentioned because this thread was born and died 6 years before the VTC came about. It was recently revived from the dead but I'm thinking it might be better to pull the plug again

The best mod I have done, by far, is the mod to the driver. Having taking driving (hpde) classes and working on that side of it sure has made driving it a lot more fun. With that said, I really like the stripes that I have added to it the most. The black chrome wheels are nice, but I think I would have been just as happy with another choice.
