Replacement side view mirror?

Is it possible to just replace the mirror or will the whole assembly need to be replaced and color matched?

You can just buy the mirror. The replacement can be epoxy to the mirror pad. I believe I saw some on Ebay.
If not on ebay, your local glass shop can make one up for you. Just make a template with a piece of cardboard and the shop can cut one to fit. Also,
Gene Culley of GM Parts Direct can probably get one for you.

Yep, as noted the mirror can be replaced. The mirror glass case will pop out of the body if you tilt it to the side. Disconnect the connector (heated mirror) and the mirror case will be out. You don't need to remove the painted assembly from the car to change the mirror face.
