The filler panel slips over the exhaust tips and you screw into the black plastic to hold into place. There is a flat nut that holds the screw into place because the plastic isn't very thick. You can drill a pilot hole if you want.

A friend of mine has the plain stainless one installed on his stock exhaust. Was looking to get the same. I noticed on his that the muffler is touching the stainless steel on the bottom just before the tips. There is no movement at all if he tries to push the exhaust upwards, possibly cause the tips would then hit the upper hole openings. Is it alright if the muffler is touching the bottom of the filler about 5 inches before the holes for the tips? Wouldn't that cause vibration?

I notice allot of forum buyers that want a black one....me too.
Why not offer them in this color?
Do you have any pictures of it on a standard exhaust corvette 2005 to 2008 etc From far away...not close ups from the back..they look good up close ...but I gotta see how good from far away.
THanks

Those are the only pics I have right now. We have a show this weekend. I will try to look for one and take some pics for you.

Any of these cuts work on the SLP Loudmouth II (quad tips) ?
And if so, and ordered plain (unfinished) to powdercoat black later, whats the cost?
I think I like the plain/solid panel best. (No mesh to worry about matching).
Thanks
