Dude...that wasn't moving up....that was more like moving out of your parents house into your own mansion.

C4 is still one great Corvette. It amazes me how that car still turns heads. Obviously the C6 is more refined and powerful but the C4 had some style.

I kept my C4 and added the C6.

Now I feel that I have the best of both worlds. An original Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette and the new Callaway C16.

Big difference huh? In some ways, I liked the C4 better. It was more of strapping yourself into an older style fighter jet, like a F5 Tiger II, versus a F22 Raptor.

don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my C6, but sometimes I miss the old C4.

I sold my 96 C4 and it wasn't even for sale, I had it at the garage doing routine maintenance on it when a guy came in and "Made me an offer I couldn't refuse" I SWEAR... he had the money in CASH.. I sold it on the spot...

I race at Englishtown in the Corvette Challenge, and a girl (Jeanne) who works at the track was using my 96 to race in the challenge (its a 10 race series) she was in 1st place when I sold the 96...

It was a DEAD NUTS WINNER BRACKET RACECAR.. it would repeat the dial # every time...

After I got home I was damn depressed.. & started looking for another car.. I got this C6 with 3000 miles on it.. had it tuned, and put on a Vararam intake..

She used it the last 4 races, and remained in 1st place!! Now my C6 is my Bracket racer...

Anyway I was going past the shop today, and I see what I "Thought" was my old 96.. and went to check it out.. it wasn't but honest to God.. it had 1350 "original miles on it" The owner wants $20,000 non negotiabile... it looked like it was still on the showroom floor...

It's the lowest mileage C4 I've ever seen or heard of !

Easy to get compliments posting this in the C6 section.

I'm in the camp that has a C4 which I love, and I never liked the looks of the C5, but someday when the right Lemans Blue C6 comes along...
