Big difference huh? In some ways, I liked the C4 better. It was more of strapping yourself into an older style fighter jet, like a F5 Tiger II, versus a F22 Raptor.
don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my C6, but sometimes I miss the old C4.
I sold my 96 C4 and it wasn't even for sale, I had it at the garage doing routine maintenance on it when a guy came in and "Made me an offer I couldn't refuse" I SWEAR... he had the money in CASH.. I sold it on the spot...
I race at Englishtown in the Corvette Challenge, and a girl (Jeanne) who works at the track was using my 96 to race in the challenge (its a 10 race series) she was in 1st place when I sold the 96...
It was a DEAD NUTS WINNER BRACKET RACECAR.. it would repeat the dial # every time...
After I got home I was damn depressed.. & started looking for another car.. I got this C6 with 3000 miles on it.. had it tuned, and put on a Vararam intake..
She used it the last 4 races, and remained in 1st place!! Now my C6 is my Bracket racer...
Anyway I was going past the shop today, and I see what I "Thought" was my old 96.. and went to check it out.. it wasn't but honest to God.. it had 1350 "original miles on it" The owner wants $20,000 non negotiabile... it looked like it was still on the showroom floor...
It's the lowest mileage C4 I've ever seen or heard of !
