C6 vibration...need help

. God that was aggravating. Wheel straightened and all are fine now! Good luck and patience grasshopper.
If you use the ROADFORCE balancing, it will also give you the out of round measurements. Additional note, I believe that there is also an setup rod they pull out to measure the wheel offset for the balancer, I wonder if he used that? NO tire and rim are perfect, but can be very close, so expect some variation; otherwise, you wouldn't have to balance the tires and wheels.
Check for rocks, nails, screws, etc. in the tires after drivings, doesn't help the balance. Sometimes they are hard to detect until some wear and the light reflection is just right. Also check your wheels, bearings, and suspension for excessive play. One time on another vehicle, I found the lug nuts ALL loose on one wheel, installer forgot to tighten.
Make sure the wheel weights are placed at the inner and outer rim, NOT in the middle.
Tires are usually balanced WITHOUT valve caps and then you add later affecting the overall balance.
Good luck!
PS. After many interuptions from my wife, I finally got this post completed and saw that you found the contributing problem, the idiot who balance your wheels.

You did not mention if the vibration was ALWAYS there (may have missed that). If the vibration just started, after a considerable amount of time....I would suggest a wheel balance problem maybe a weight came off.
Generally.......a vibration felt in the steering wheel is a problem on the front end. A vibration in the seat/seat back is in the rear.
If the problem has been there, I would pull the rear wheels, one at a time, and determine if the rotor retention washers/clips (usually 2) are still on. If so, spin or cut them off, they are only needed during the assembly process. Aftermarket wheels may not have the milled "relief" the OEM's provide for the washers. They will cause the vibration you are speaking of because of non matching surface around the complete
hub and wheel.
If the wheels mate to the hub perfectly, I would suggest a rear balance by a reputable shop. Checking for and out of round rim/tire.
Good luck....

Seems to be good now on the highway.
