can anyone recommend me a place to buy the gmpp ... 3years 36000 mile
i don't have a warranty currently so i think it needs to be local cause they have to inspect the car ...thanx i live in Brooklyn NY btw
I spoke with Dennis about getting GMPP for my car which was a couple of months out of it's 3 year period (but well within the 36k). He told me you could only get GMPP if the car was still within it's original 3/36 factory warranty period.
As I told you on the phone, good luck in getting that GMPP but he will not do this for long, GMPP has a way of tracking this and he will not be selling GMPP's for much longer after you get yours (if you do). I play by the rules and that is why I sell so many of these plans. Believe me if I could sell you one I would but once car is out of factory warranty you can not buy a GMPP (unless I sell you the car out of my inventory and have done all the inspections per GMPP).

P.S. anyone needing a GMPP needs to act on it, prices going up on 9-1-09. Send my your VIN and current miles to dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com for accurate quote.

There ya go, straight from the
(No offense intended Dennis...just going for the joke factor)
It can be done! i got my 5yr 40k gmpp 0 deductible! You just have to know the right people. My car was out of warranty for 5 months but then again the car only has 8500 on the clock. Cant beat having a warranty until 8/2014 its better than buying a new one.

The car actually can be out of warranty, but it has to be approved by GMPP. I had a very good long time customer picked up a low mileage 2006 Z06 that was out of warranty by about 4 months. Our GMPP rep approved the warranty and he now has a 4 year extended warranty. This has happened more then once, but it is possible. I just did one last week for another customer that forgot his car had ran out. He brought the car in to verify mileage and we called GMPP. With their authorization, they allowed us to offer a warranty even though it was out by about 2 months.
I have been selling quite a few of these on the forums lately and they have all been done 100% legit. So just FYI, it can be done...... And that's right from another horses mouth.

My horses mouth told me it couldn't be done when I asked, so I ended up with one through my CU (for a lot less might I add )
