So, there are times when you hold the clutch pedal to the floor but dont downshift right away, and that's when it happens. Do you ever do the same procedure on upshifting? If so, does it happen? You said it never happens on upshifting, but do you hold the clutch in for awhile on upshifts occasionally without actually moving the lever?
And btw, your post today is about 4 mos. past when you said the clean fluid worked. It could be you need to repeat the procedure again. Just a thought, not a suggestion.

Actually, I've been replacing the murky fluid in the reservoir every couple of weeks trying to get it clear throughout the system. I have done the same shifting procedure on upshifts, but not nearly as often since I'm usually doing it in preparation for traffic slowing down. Next time I'm out I will intentionally do it on upshifts to double check that it doesn't happen then as well. Thanks.
