it could have been worse.. glad you came out with just that broh. head up and cruise on!!!!!!!!!
could have been worse... I always try to watch what's on the road... I avoided some debris today as I went around it - it was a 1 foot long piece of 2x4 - it could have been ugly!
Some guys have all the luck, right?
How did you like your 350z? I'm looking to buy a used vette coupe now (black vert from the accident is my dad's), and I'm also considering a 370z as an alternative. Probably going to go with the vette (partially because of how well it handled the accident), but just curious to hear the opinion of someone who's owned a Z and a vette, are you happier with the vette?
Well I loved my Z. I had some work done to it so it was a pretty quick. I would have to say this as well as that car handled there is nothing like the vette. The horse power, the handling, how snugged you can take corners and how quick it can take you from 0-60 or from 60-100 lol. The cannot be compared with a Z. Its a great car and all but just not in the same class.

Thanks man, definitely reaffirms my decision to go with the vette over the Z. One thing I love about the Z is that tight turn circle and smaller body, definitely comes in handy down here in SoFla. But I need the extra cargo room the vette coupe offers, and the visibility is better from what I understand, if I could combine the two cars it would make the perfect vehicle, but I think I'm going to have to go with the vette. Thanks again for your input.

No problem. Where in South Florida do you live? Maybe we can set up some hangouts with other Vettes....

I'm in Boca. I was supposed to drive down to Miami tonight and pick up a friend from out of town, but he's going to need a lift tomorrow instead (fine with me, I'm just chilling and researching used Corvettes instead). Yeah I'd definitely be up for that, just gotta find my new (used) vette first
Check out my other thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...y-new-car.html
Looks like it may happen sooner than I thought. I wanted an Arctic White one but if I can get them to lower the price on this yellow beauty, it may just be too good to pass up.

Nice man. I actually bought mine from a guy on eBay. I was lucky. Well i think i was. I bought a 2006 C6 Black/Black with charcoal wheels (black sport package). I bought it with 34k miles on it. The guy barely drove the car. I got the car for 26k

Be patient and it will come.
Sweet deal, if I could find one like yours in white w/ black interior for that price, I would be incredibly happy. I've been looking on ebay too, tho I'd prefer to buy from a dealer because with my luck I just know I'd probably get screwed by a private seller somehow. Yours seems to be pristine though, congrats on a great find. As we speak, my friends are trying to convince me to go for a 370z or used Cayman instead, I could maybe see myself in the 370 but I can't take the thought of driving a Cayman seriously (and even a used one is probably out of my price range).
Man, I drove to Miami Beach and back today (mostly I-95, then across the bay and on Collins), no joke there were tire fragments laying in the road in multiple areas (mostly little pieces, but still, what is it about South Florida and road debris)
I don't know if it's always been this way or maybe I'm just noticing it more after reading about what happened to you and looking out for it more.

Regarding the TPMS, Tire Rack has the basic reset tool for about $100. I ordered it and had it the next day. It has paid for itself numerous times over, not just from avoiding paying the dealer to reset the tires, but in time and gas to get it done. It takes all of 30 seconds to reset all four tires without ever pulling out of the garage.
Just a thought.
Good Luck!
Either they are lazy to pick it up or i don't know they're issue. These pieces of tires can cause someone to have an accident not just a tire valve like mine. I'm glad my post has made people a little bit more aware whats on the roads. THIS SUCKS!!! Not only do we have to worry about pot wholes, or some jerks that don't know how to drive, or people swerving everywhere because they are having a lovely conversation on the phone (UGH!!!), or drunks, and now this!!!! As much as they make cops pull people over they should make them pick the tire scrappies up....
We should come out with a company called "TIRE SCRAPPY PICK UP" TSPP...lol

Can you give me a part# or a link to the Tire Rack TPMS tool. I'm shopping for one now. Thanks for the info.
