Default Lowering Consequences...

Since lowering I have YET to gauge where the front bumper is If I put a spoiler on or change out to Sic's Z06 front end Im gonna cry

As well, I back in "most" of the time but then I occasionally hit the rear sway bar on the parking stop! Has anyone had to replace the rear swaybar because of this?

How low did you go? I listened to everyone and cut my stock bolt bushings to the "Top bun" of the hamburger in the back and uncut in the front. I actually had to raise the rear a little after cutting them to maintain the same tire/fender gap as in the front.

I scrape the front air damn and slightly rub the front "Skid plates?" on my driveway but that is it. In the back, I'm fine and can back up my Rhino ramps without my 2x10 ramp lift.

As far as the front goes, I only bumped the nose once and I learned my lesson.

You may have lowered much more than me. Maybe too much??? Good luck.

My c6 never rubs. Just don't slam it and if you have raise it back up a bit.

There are no consequences other than looking great. Mines slammed and I havent hit anything yet. Just dont try and pull all the way in and your good. I do scrape my plastic air dam leaving my driveway, but nothing painted.

After lowering, many recommend getting an alignment job so your tires will wear properly.

Airdam Im not worried about. Its a bittersweet tradeoff.

I lowered mine all the way down on aftermarket bolts and my sway bar never hit..front air damn will rub in my driveway but can be avoided if I come to it at an angle.

In the worst case scenerio, if you do need to replace the oem rear sway, they are fairly common take-off parts (the oems are pretty thin compared to all aftermarkets versions), so you can find them in the C6 parts section here often for around $100.

By rubbing I meant my car hitting the ground or obstacle.
