Yesterday I was comming home from a day at Barber Motorspotrs Park and the strangest thing happened. I pushed the chanel selection button to change raido stations and the raido unprogramed itself, the hud went down, the a/c changed temp settings, when I stopped I discovered the power seat lost its memory. I reprogramed everything and is all ok now. Can anybody explain this, it baffles me???? Thanks, john

Had something very similar happen to me - only I also lost the ability to unlock the passenger door also. Played with the key fob and got some functions back, but not the passenger door unlock feature. It happened suddenly also. Dealer ordering passenger door actuator. I recently had to have my battery changed also - died in garage (open cell).
Sounds like a quick loss of power to those functions, I don't know for sure but probably covered by a circuit breaker and not a fuse, the breaker overloaded shut off wiped the memory and came back on.
I don't have a service manual for my car yet but if you can find out if the if the things that screwed up are all on the same circuit and the locataion of the breaker, next time if there is a next time change the breaker.
Sounds like voltage might have dropped to the entire car. I would sure check the battery, make sure it's 12.6 volts or so. Also might have a loose battery cable. These would be first things I would check.
