I had always used a damp microfiber cloth until a few weeks ago I tried Aerospace 303. 303 is great stuff but not for the dash. A few hours after I had applied it I pulled out into the sun and the reflection of the dash on the windshield was very bad. 303 makes it shiny. I tried to wipe it off but it didn't change. Now after a few weeks it is getting back to a normal matte finish so I can see again. On the other hand, 303 is fantastic on all the black trim outside the car and it seems to be lasting there. But on the top of the dash I'm back to the damp cloth as the manual says. WHAT! There's actually a manual for these cars?
Water and a clean microfiber towel. Works perfectly. I stay away from chemicals as much as I can.
Me too - then I protect it with Aerospace 303. Over long periods of time, all those cleaners will eventually take their toll on your interior panels and dash - use them with great caution only if you have to.

Sounds like you applied it too heavily and did not remove the excess. I have not experienced any shine/glare from the dash. I did, however, find that it successfully removed the whitish film that eventually forms on the dash and that water does not remove. This is a daily driver that is exposed to the sun for long hours every day.
Glad to see you guy's are liking the 303 protectant, because I just did my dash and door panels with it for the first time yesterday. Was suprised how much of this stuff I had to apply to get good coverage. It shine's a bit now, but my boater buddies assured me it fades down in a few weeks. Tried some Armor-All Natural finish cleaner/detailer a bit back and only looked good for a few days. While ordering from Auto-Geek, I picked up some of their interior detailing brushes for dusting the crack's and vent's. Hardware store paint brushes would probably work fine, but these really look cool.
