Default Clear bra update

With over 23,000 miles on my 2009 Vette protected by the XPEL clear bra which I purchased immediately after taking delivery, I must say that I am truly impressed with the protection it has offered and its current condition. It still looks great and has saved my front bumper countless times. On one occasion, a small rock first hit the bumper while I was traveling around 70MPH, bounced off and hit the windshield. No damage whatsoever to the bumper but I had to replace the windshield. There are several clear bra products on the market which offer excellent protection and I would recommend this treatment to anyone considering extra protection for their front bumper. I travel a lot on the highway and a week doesn’t go by when something doesn’t fly off a truck and strike my car ----- very irritating. These clear bras really work. I’ll post another update as miles accumulate. Enjoy your Vettes!

Yes...me too. However, mine has a few marks...perhaps time to get another one...

so can you see the clear bra cover or is it relatively transparent. Where do you get them and do you have a pic to post so we can see? I am picking up my car from the museum on the 23rd and was considering getting something for the drive home to texas. Can it be purchased at the museum?

It's nearly invisible, depending on the color of the car. Mine can only be seen in a small line going across the hood and fenders, which is the edge of the clearbra (Ventureshield brand). From more than a few feet away, you won't see it.

This is the second car i've had that I put it on and every car henceforth will have it (except for a beater, maybe).

Mine is ventureshield but it covers the entire hood and no "line" to worry about.

Works like a champ!

Unless you are very close, you can't tell that it is on the car as it is transparent. When close you will only see a small seam line at its edge. If applied on the original factory paint job, the manufacturer states that it can be taken off at any time (years later) without any damage to the paint and replaced. Hope that helps.
