My wife suffered a broken hand and other injuries... but the estimate to fix the car was $13,700 & the ins Co Would NOT Total it..
I was told by a friend of an excellent body shop in the next town... They (the body shop) had the car for over 2 months.. I would go there about once a week to see how they were doing.
I couldn't believe the car would ever run again.. there was nothing left from the fire wall forward!
The seats, Dash, steering wheel, and steering column were out of the car..
They used a Lazar to get the frame straight, replace all parts with OEM Lexus parts...
This we early in 2000 and the car only had 2300 miles on it! When we got it back, my wife & I drove it until 2008 and put app 70,000 miles on it With NO problems EVER no squeaks, rattles etc.. All the electronics worked perfect (& trust me it had a lot of bells & whistles) but never ANY problem related to the accident..
That was the Good news... now for the BAD... although it was running good, the wife wanted a new car, and loved the Audi Cabriolet Quatro... so we went to trade the Lexus in on the new Audi... the deal was made, she got her convertible, but bottom line the salesman was "Honest" and told us even though the car looked and drove like new it had note on the car fax that it was involved in an accident where air bags went off, and there was over $5000 damage done to it...We got $4000 Less than Blue Book on The Trade

I had no choice as my wife wanted the new Audi, and I was in NO mood to try to sell it privately!
So bottom line if its fixed "RIGHT" you might have a good car, but most likely will get hurt when its time to sell it!

I'd walk away. Frame damage is never good.
