Mine, also, if I wanted Retro, I get a '63 and put late model suspension and an LS3 in it.

It wouldn't matter to me. If I were to buy a C7 it would have to be a convertible.

I read 2 articles on this yesterday and am not concerned about the split window . especially with the cameras to help out. I drove large truck for years without anything but side mirrors.

I did see a RUMOR and I use the word RUMOR that it will have a turbo V6 for a power plant.

I doubt if this is true, but I will pass it along as a RUMOR. No doubt I will be keeping my 07 Z06 if there is ANY lowering of power from at least the LS3 class!

I'm liking the idea of a split window! As per the V6 thing, I'm not sure I see that one happening. But seeing as Chevy, Inifiniti and others are already past the 300hp mark with normally aspirated V6's, give it a few years and I can easily see a turbo V6 well past the 400hp mark.

As presently styled the view out the rear isn't all that great.

It's looking to be around 2016-or at least that's what GM was quoted. Happily, the V6 isn't going to be considered-yet although a Hybrid is not out of the question. Hopefully, this won't be an ugly retro thing like the Camaro

I don't like the retro styling idea in general. That being said, the difference between the 63 visibility problems and the new pic is that the 63's window continues to curve and is smaller than the pic I see. The C7 rear window appears to be flatter in the middle, thus not distorting the view - blocking some of it, yes - but not distorting it.

All it needs really is a lit stick of dynamite. Split window aside. What the whatever are those flare/fin looking things over the fenders? "Holy Bat Mobile"!!Whole concept is ugly as sin. Then again Camaro lovers will love it.

We'll see... Hard to get excited this early on.
I believe the kit actually came out in 64.

I highly doubt that much of anything about the C7 (assuming there even is one) has been decided this early on.
