Default 2008 Nav. install

I recently bought a factory 2008 Nav. unit and disc from a forum member, I've also purchased a factory nav. antenna. I have read that I must bring my C6 to a Chevrolet dealer to "flash" my computer. When I looked at the antenna, I see that it mounts with 2 screws. Does anybody know where the antenna mounts, and which specific type of screw I need to get? Also, do I need to remove the "carbon fiber" radio surround to get at the stock radio? Anything else I should be aware of? Thanks in advance. The car has 3LT with HUD and Bose.

Go check out the FAQ in the audio section, has a complete write-up on how to get at the factory radio. The antenna uses push pins to mount to two posts under the dash...but you can't get to them unless you take the dash completely loose. Most just double tape it to the top of the air vents, that's what I did and it works just fine.
