I own a 2008 coupe. The turn signals are slow - you get about 2 light clicks and you have already changed lanes. Is there a way to make the lights blink at a faster rate? Thanks.

Reason: SLOW TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS
The 2008 C6's have a feature where you move the signal lever and let go - the turn signals will flash 3 times. That's how mine work.
Page 3-8 in the owner's manual To signal a lane change, just raise or lower the lever
until the arrow starts to flash. Release the lever and
the turn signal will automatically flash three times.
If more flashes are desired, continue to hold the lever.
If you signal a turn or a lane change and the arrows flash
faster than normal, a signal bulb may be burned out.
I haven't heard that before so I'm only taking a wild guess.......could be a defective flasher.....maybe? The turn signal flasher is integrated into the hazard warning flasher switch (between the A/C vents in center stack). I don't know what the diagnostic would be other than compare with other C6's. Maybe shopdog or GMAutotech will stop by with insight. Good luck.

M.....
There are 2 different sets of turn signals on the 06, and from what you've said, on the 08.
If you just move the turn signal lever until the signal starts to flash, it will flash 3 times and quit. However, if you move the lever far enough for it to click, the turn signal will continue to flash until you complete a turn or move the lever back.
Either way you do it, the signals still flash at the same rate.
