I was unaware of roof delam issues on 2007 models, however I traded one in yesterday on a Range Rover that seems to have all of the symptoms of one that is getting ready to peel off. If you push up on the inside front you can see the gap between the frame and the panel, and at 65 the wind starts to howl through the gap.
This was a very early 07 (100882). Even though it is out of 36/36 coverage, will GM still fix it?

If it's out of the 3/36 warranty, I doubt if GM will fix it.
I agree, but it might be worth an asking of the dealer. There may still be some "good will" left over to cover it. Or they might have an extra sitting around and either give it to you, or make a great deal on it. Sitting in inventory does nothing for profitability and dealers are all about that today (as always).
I thought if there was a TSB or safety recall (and the roof peeling off certainly sounds unsafe to me, then it shouldn't matter if it is still in 36/36 coverage.

Just to let everyone know, Local dealer Best Chevrolet in Kenner, LA replaced the top under warranty even though the car was out of 36/36. Said that "they made a phone call and got it handled".
I know that most of these delam issues have been handled. Just wanted to let the "unaware" second owners know that there are still options if they go in looking for asistance.
