Checking DIC Codes for a C6

Please advice - how do you pull up the history codes of a C6 - I know their is a way from the DIC but forgot the procedure.

That's on c5's,not c6's.Don't know why they changed it,but they did.

Yep. now you have to have a code reader either purchased or borrowed. They aren't that expensive and it's just another tool that can last for many years.

Unfortunately this feature was dropped when the C6 came along. Your alternative is to 1) have the dealer read the codes for you, or 2) many Auto Parts stores will read them for free for you or 3) you can get yourself a diagnostic reader.. Actron makes resonably price units that will read and also allow you to reset the codes.
