A damp (water) MicroFiber towel. I carry one in the car for that and general window cleaning.

I use a mico fiber towel and just a little water also. Use it on all glass surfaces...

My car doesn't have nav, but use an LCD monitor cleaning kit from Tiger Direct computers for $20. It's a green spray gel with nanofiber cleaning cloth. Work's very well on my LCD computer monitors and televisions. Thinking the Vette's nav screens are a little more rugged, but know some people that scratched up their LCD computer screen's, using paper towel's.

My big screen TV manual says don't use water to clean the screen. I have a kit I bought that has a spray cleaner and cloth for cleaning computer screens, LCD & plasma TV's, etc. I use it on my Nav screen as well. It's called Compuclear.

A nanofiber cloth like you get for cleaning glasses will remove/absorb the oil with no cleaner or water needed. Then you get a NuShield antiglare cover and, if necessary, you can scrub away knowing you won't hurt the real screen below.

My .02, don't spray water or the special cleaners onto the screen as it will seep. Spray onto the mircofiber aand wipe.

My technique:
First, blow off the dust with canned air.
Second, spray a little GM Glass Cleaner (safe for plastics) into cotton towel and wipe screen.
Finish wiping with clean cotton towel.

Same technique for HUD.
