This might be a dumb question, but are the tail lights specific to one side or the other?
I pulled my outboard lights to install sequential flashers which involved setting the taillight assemblies off to one side of my work area, and now that I've put them back in they seem to point to the sides instead of straight back. I wonder if I put them back in the opposite holes.
They look dimmer than the inboard lights unless you stand off to one side. I didn't notice this before I installed the flashers.
I'll switch them tomorrow when I have daylight, but I thought I'd see if anyone knew if there is a left light and a right light.
Both lefts are the same and both rights are the same, but there is a left taillight and a right taillight. In the writing at the bottom of each taillight, the last character is either an R or an L.....So the two on the left should both be 'L', etc.
If they are switched, they will fit, but will not be aimed correctly for viewing from behind.
