First, I read all the speaker related info in the FAQ area, but couldn't find updated info that related to my questions. Here goes and bear with me.
The center dash speaker and door speakers are 3 1/2 " along with 5 1/4" in the doors. What size speaker is in the rear?
If I replaced all 7 speakers with something aftermarket, would the stock (non-Bose) radio have enough power? Or is the reason the stock speakers are cheap is because the stock radio can't power decent speakers?
Last, any manufacturer stand out with decent speakers at a reasonable cost in you opinion?
I for one never understood the center speaker... I understand front, Back, Left, Right... what signal goes to the center? I have the Nav unit, and I removed the center speaker, now I can turn the sound up louder, and it sounds better, less muddy, and I hear left & right
Several folks have posted that they also disconnected their center speaker and find it improves the sound. I think I'll follow your advice and disconnect that one.
