How come the console cover isn't red? I know with cashmire or grey it's the same color. Almost looks like the seats were added to me.
The last model year for the matching red console lid, rear console piece, and seat belts was 2008, after which GM brainpower decided it would be cheaper to just use the standard black pieces instead on both the red and the black/red interiors. Coincidentally, that was also the last year for all the totally useless overhead GM had working on such time wasting projects prior to Mr. Obamamobile's take over.
Both versions look very sharp in real life, so to some degree it may not matter to most buyers.

Good question. And why isn't the carpet red? It's cashmere on my Arctic White vert with cashmere interior, as is the console cover. Looked at a white vert with red interior but there was just too much black in the interior. Dark and dreary.
Theres to much black in all the interiors, should be more color less black!! Hey GM go back to the c1,c2 and c3,when the interiors were filled with color, the c4 to the c6 interiors are real snoozers

Agree 100%. 50th anniversary model's all-shale interior is about the only exception.
