I'm looking to trade my '05 Coupe for a 2010 4LT Coupe however I can't find any 4LT's on the lots. There are only 14 2010's with 4LT listed on the JeffHardy site (none near me), none at Kerbeck NJ, and none at MacMulkin NH. Why are there no 4LT's? I will probably need to order one however I'm mostly wondering why there are none on the dealers lots.
One of our club members has a 2009 4LT. To my eye, it looks not much "better" but just "different". If it was a no-cost option over the 3LT, maybe I'd take it even though I don't like two-tone seats. But for an extra $3-4k, no way.
Obviously, some people like it and are willing to pay the extra money. But the market seems to be saying they are a small minority.

I've never seen a 4LT in person however I would imagine the leather covered dash and door panels must be a step up from the plastic panels I have now.
I have a 4LT and it is quite a upgrade. Great look and really classes up the car. I love the 3LT don't get me wrong but the 4LT is awesome. If you want a 4LT get it. Always get what you want so there are no regrets later. Some that do not have and wish they had it will knock it. That is human nature.
On the lot Corvettes will not have the 4LT because of sticker shock. It is a expensive option. Many dealers order stripped down Vettes to advertise in the papers at a low price is yet another reason. Finally, the economy is really taking a toll on expensive items such as the Corvette and undoubtedly with the new unemployment numbers coming out in a few short days will only be worse. Much worse.
Vette Susp. hit the nail on the head. Dealers order what they feel will sell and cars with expensive upgrades like the 4LT interior package just make it tougher to move the cars off the lots for those who are looking to get a Vette but can't pony up $60K for a loaded one. I like my 4LT and ordered the car the way I wanted it to be. No regrets. I noticed when I checked the current 2010's on the site that checks what's out there that there were no 2010's even close to my 2009 option and trim level. As you are finding the 4LT is not a big seller.

People keep asking if my 4LT is stock from the factory. There is a big difference. Just put your elbow on the center console or look at the stitched Corvette lettering on the dash.
Besides it is nice to have a Vette that is more rare than one you have a good chance seeing every place you go.
If you can swing it, 4LT is definitely the way to go.
I was going to go for the 3LT when I found MacMulkin. Their 4LT was cheaper than the 3LT's were locally.
It's way over priced though. All vettes should come with it standard.
I would imagine the 4LT's don't sell as well as the rest. MacMulkin had my 4LT on their lot for something like 8 months before I bought it. That's a long time for that dealership.

I have a 4LT used 2010 Grand Sport...200 miles on her...pictures posted this afternoon!
Take a ride to MacMulkin and talk to Tommy Jr or Ron, or give them a call. I bet if they don't have it they can get it. They constantly have new cars showing up so just because they don't have it now... Anyway they are also great guys to deal with. Buying my 09 from them was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Just my $0.02.
I have an '08 vert with the 4LT (sienna) interior and black exterior - I love it. Everyone that sees the interior goes WOW! When I bought the car I felt the price was high for this option, but it was what I wanted.
Make sure you get the options and colors that make you happy and you'll have "many miles of smiles".
I found a new 08 with 4LT that had been sitting for a year. Got a great deal on it back in August - Sienna interior, white exterior. Pictures are in my "garage". I really love it btw, I like where they placed the colored pieces - it looks really good.
I would imagine that once a dealer has one sit for such a long time - they don't make that mistake again.
I am very happy with my 4LT. It makes you car look as expensive as it is. It had sat on the lot long enough that I got a good discount. If you look at buying all the parts to duplicate the options it would be very expensive.

I’d like to do the 4LT dash, it’s only $1600…but man, what a project to swap it out.
I was considering the 2 tone cashmere for my 08 but found a 4LT Linen and we drove 60 miles each way to see it in person. VERY GLAD I DID. Both wife and I fell in love with it instantly. We feel it gives a real retro look to the interior. As I recall, it was really only $2,500 over the 2 tone option and well worth it to me. As I recall from yearly sales numbers, less than 5% order with the nicer interior which is why it is rare. EVERYONE who has seen my interior and is familiar with the standard vette interior comments about how much nicer it is. But is is more money. I paid $54 for a fully loaded 08 Crystal Red Metallic, MN6, Z51, NPP, NA, Musuem PU and figured at that amount the extra over the 2 tone was a drop in the bucket.
MOST IMPORTANT IS TO GET WHAT YOU WANT as you have to live with it.
I just love my 4LT linen. Really classes up the already nice C6 interior. Finding one on a lot was hard so I finally decided just to order exactly what I wanted. Got a better deal (Dealer didn't have costs associated with putting it into inventory) and got exactly what I want. Car "shows" well also with this rare option.
Nowdays ordering is relatively fast as there isn't a backlog at the factory, only 3-5wks, and you can spend nearly that much time just trying to find close to what you want on a lot somewhere.
One thing to remember about upgrading a non 4LT interior is the pax front airbag. I don't think there is a vendor that will accept liability if the bag didn't work in a crash. The 4LT dash is an option although it is cheaper to get the 4LT to start with since you'll most likely upgrade the door panels and center console.
Dealers will order what is most common. When I bought my Vette the local dealer had 7 Vettes, 2 loaded 4LTs both CRM (one coupe, one Vert), the rest were black, silver and victory red (a couple 3LTs, the other two were 1LTs (one had zero options)). I 2lZ Z06 also, black. He said ordering one special order would cost me MSRP so I went to Tim at Boardwalk. They later said they would have matched his deal and that I wasted their time and I should have been a "serious" buyer. They put a invoice plus $3k price on the instock cars and laughed when I went invoice -$3k on my offer.
Get what you want, even if you have to wait. I would have been happy with either CRM they had but it is not what I wanted and they are quite common even in Utah.
Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I intend to get exactly what I want, or I might as well just keep my '05 (although I've stared at that ugly steering wheel long enough). Here are my list of options:
* Torch Red Coupe
* 4LT
* Paddle Shift Auto
* F55
* NAV
* Transparent Roof Panel
* Dual Mode Exhaust
* Polished Wheels
I know the Auto and F55 probably makes this what most consider a "non-enthusiast" version, although these are the options that suit me (I'm older than most on this Forum). I'll probably be visiting MacMulkin the first week of November to see about ordering. Thanks!

Please do not fall into that it must be a manual to be a sports car. Only a fool would under estimate the A6. Just check the numbers.
The F55 is well worth the money. Great ride when you want.
NPP is awesome and get the M2W.
NAV make sure you read the manual and you will not be disappointed.
