Paddle Shift

Maybe a dumb question but I am learning about Vettes now before I purchase in a couple months.

Which year did the auto's start coming with paddle shift?

Ive noticed that on the 05's it is never mentioned. So when did it actually start. Also all of the newer um 08's and up all have the paddle shift if you choose a auto right?

Paddle shift started in 2006. It is standard on ALL automatics. In 2005, the auto was a 4 speed. Since then, the auto is a 6 speed.
