don't you hate it when people cut you off too short. not even a courtesy of signaling. it was just poof, they speed up and just take your lane. oh it was a bmw 530I. and guess what, female driving it ...are those 530i fast?

Compared to what? A Vette.....? You must have started out in 5th
07 - seems to happen a lot out here, especially when I'm riding the motorcycle on Nimitz highway. Had a guy yesterday try to come right over into my lane and the incredible thing is I was equal with him, all he had to do was look left and he would have seen me. Luckily for me he did at the last second and swerved back into his own lane.
I've been driving for 43 years. I don't see anything much different than I did when I was 16. **** hole drivers have been around since the wheel and horse were conceived as viable transportation.
If you want to see nasty driving, watch "Ben Hur" with Charalton Heston!

that's a good race, lol..specially when he got run over by the horses
Turns out we got a few of those drivers here in LA... Some of them treat traffic like cones on a slalom course. I used to wonder if they wreck sometimes. Then I saw one smash hard into a concreate wall on the freeway right behind me... while I was in my vette on the way to a track day!
When I'm in the Vette I'm always extra cautious looking out for erratic drivers. A guy in a small SUV pulled right out in front of me the other day and I almost t-boned him. I was looking for him though and braked in time, laying on the horn. I think he was embarrased.
Although there are more expensive or more exotic cars around: When we drive our Corvette's we have the attention of all other vehicles. They are compelled to like us. They speed-up to catch us. And to dare us.
We are driving or are riding in the American icon sports car. Many folks, realizing that they will never own a Corvette, are well satisfied to simply park near us. We can feel good about this attention because remember, it is the car, not us, that they seek to be near.

Happens to me too out here, every day. I drive 60 miles one-way to work and come home late at night. Believe me, its defensive driving all the way and I'm not traveling like some slow poke either, usually 75 - 80 most of the way and yet, still getting cut off a lot.
See this type of driving everyday, as for whether a BMW530i is fast, not fast enought to cut me off.
let me clarify, we were not racing, i was slowing down as i approach the stop light and suddenly this bimmer speeds up, and went in front of me from the right lane and stops in front of me due to it was already red light. i looked behind me and there was only 1 car behind, so if she was patient enough and was not acting stupid, she would be just 3rd behind me. what if she clips my front fender? hassle right? i don't see the logic with what she did.

I drove the truck Mon and Tues because or rainy weather and drove the Vette today. I noticed that people tend to turn out in front of me more when I'm in the trunk. People stay out of my way in the Vette. Only have had the Vette less than three weeks.
I got my first wave today from someone on I-26 in SC going the opposite direction. I always try to wave but don't know if people can see me out the side window.
My favorite is those that think a turn signal entitles them to change lanes immediately by cutting you off rather than waiting for an appropriate opening. But off course most of these drivers are too engaged with their cell phones to have any situational awareness as to where they are in relation to other vehicles using the roadway. Their must be a more rational solution than road rage and killing them. Any suggestions?
In Georgia and a few other states they have a sign with a vehicle passing,,,and leaving 2-3 car lengths before pulling in,and caption saying there is a ticket for anything less,,,,,,,
