For those not wanting to waist soooo much money I think the 4lt is a good buy. Only things I would add is the hud/dic button leather.

And they are so much more expensive. About 10th times less compared to CAV.

Not dissing the work by Cav or DSV, but it just doesn't get me all worked up. I am sure it looks better in person than the pics. It just doesn't look like it belongs in a vette.

Are you aware that the 4LT comes w/ the fake leather shift and e-brake boots ?

Also the most artistic in the business, able to come up with designs that the rest can"t do. Take a look at his Daytona race seat.
Black and Tan, for me, the Ultimate interior color choice, done by one of the best, no doubt.

Interesting. This is the way I viewed it. I only starting re-liking Corvettes with the intro of the C6 - smaller, simpler, tighter. Over the years they got too bloated for my tastes. When I looked at all the choices the one that appealed to me was the 1LT.

The days of unpackaged options is long gone (but I was there). Note that many buy the package for one thing or another, but don't want or need the other stuff that comes with it.

For saving costs and effort, get the 4LT with everything. But look how many replace the stereo completely and redo the interior completely.

If I keep the C6 I will add the (cheap) HUD, re-do the stereo (has the base stereo), and have the interior redone 100%.

Come time to do the interior, it's probably going to be Caravaggio's. Love the attention to detail and quality materials.

I'll go back to lurking for now.

.

Oh, I don't know about that
I think it belongs in the vette, but not as much as the previously stated 25k belongs in my pocket.

Does it really cost 25K for the complete package? That is certainly never going in my Z.

Its not $25K(although I wouldnt doubt you can get there) John said in another thread that the full interiors start at $14.5K(thats with the stock seats)$18.5K for the the entire interior in leather with the daytona seats. As expensive as that sounds and is, I would gladly pay that much to have my interior look, feel and smell like an expensive exotic car interior. The only problem is now I need the money to do it

My big beef with the GM stuff is that its finished leather, i.e. its covered in vinyl.

Id rather it smell and feel like leather, even if its more prone to fading ( thats only if you dont protect it ).

And what does 1-3LT come with? Those are simple fixes, definitely a lot cheaper than starting from 1-3LT.

As do the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT...

$150 bucks at DS Vettes and you're done...

Another $4-500 to change the steering wheel and you've got the "real" sports car looks rather than the Chevy Malibu look......

3LZ/4LT is the only way to go...

From GM without modding that is...

This is my 2000 Corvette done by Caravaggio, around 2003. Everything was covered, roll bar, shift ****, even the carpet behind the seats. Back then he used Connelly leather, not sure who the supplier is now.
NEVER won best interior in any show! Got beat by club members every time!

I just want to add that the workmanship is excellent.
7 years later you can still smell the leather.
Quality like none other.

Looks nice, but you do understand that you are answering a question that was asked 6 years ago, don't you?
