Very easy to remove the tail light assembly. Just remove the screw, which is at the top of the light itself, once the screw is out, just give it a light push at the bottom and it will pop out, remove the old bulb and replace
Don't touch the new bulb with your bare fingers...leaves an oilish residue which causes the bulb to burn out faster...use a disposable glove or piece of saran wrap to hold the new bulb when inserting

Take the bulb that is not working out and take it with you to the auto store --- the bulb should have a # on it near the base that they can match....That way you can also compare size, and plug type as well.

Not as crucial with non-headlight bulbs but none the less a good precaution.
