c6 engine problems
hello... I'm from romania and i have a corvette c6 from 07.. I buy the car fom NY at 1000 miles and this month i have 8200 miles and the engine goes down.. I have a knok soud ( a beat sound) and are not going until 5000 rph...I think its crankshaft... Ok.. The quastion.. Can you help me to find a new or used engine... Sorry for my english.. I just go to the dealership and he tall me that he dodnt now what is the problem and here i dont have waranty because i buy the car from USA.. The problem cost me about 2300 euro, this is 3500$ and i dont now what to do..

The engine should not have died with only 8200 miles (what is the car's history of ownership before you bought it?) Who sold you the car? If you have to replace the factory engine, then I would look at aftermarket performance shops who offer forged LSX engines (enhanced versions of the LS series engines).
