This thread sounds like the making of a new Jeff Foxworthy routine.

I do like that! Wonder what color on yellow though. Red? Black?

I like it too. I'd say go with black on yellow. If you had more blue, I also have always thought Jet Stream Blue accents on a yellow vette would look awesome.

Without fail, there's always at least one.

Just so you know, different people in the world like different things. Otherwise the world would be a pretty boring place.

Default Use Vinyl Stripes

I went through the same delima on my 08 Machine Silver. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do but finally decided to do a vinyl "decal" stripe in a dual racing stripe theme.

Then is took me forever to decide on the color. I finally went with maple red metallic.

Did the install myself (time consuming, but turned out perfect!).

It looks painted on, but yet, if I get tired of it, I can remove it with no problems and if I want to make it permanant, I can have it painted on.

I haven't figured out posting photo's yet and I wished it was as simple as a copy and paste! (Why isn't it that simple to post photo's???)

You can either set up a FREE account at www.photobucket.com which is what I do. Trust me, if I can figure it out, so can you. Once you've uploaded a picture, you will be given four links to the picture. Ignore the first three, and highlight/copy the fourth. Then just past it here and push Submit Reply.

Or...

You can click the button that says "Manage Attachments" when you're making a post and grab something out of your My Pictures.

Raazor, as others have said the car looks awesome as is. And you can't put flames on a C6 unless you're 55 or older. IMO flames are too old school for a C6. I think I'd spend the $ on a Hi-Tec hood and SicMSP front fascia.

Default For your consideration

It's hard to work with yellow, but close your eyes.

Now think back to the Ford GT's that won LeMans in 1965. Remember how that White car with blue LeMans stripes looked so good winning the race.

Now visualize this in yellow with black stripes. I can just see it coming across the finish line with the checkered flag waving and Raazor spraying champange on the podium.

Oh and don't forget the SS badges, the ultimate Chevy performance ICON. You can order them from Chevy parts.

LJ

And don't get the pointed hood stripe, to be correct both hood stripes must go all the way down the front bumper.

Kinda leaning that way after the Jeff Foxworth comment.

J/K... I do what I want...

But seriously, I'm thinking now a front splitter and the side thingys.

I must finally confess this was the entire stripe just on the front fender. It was a prototype to see what it would look like with the SS badges and LeMans stripes. I really liked them but.

My wife won't allow the stripes on her Vette.

I was thinking gloss black to match my wheels.

Thoughts?

This is hott on a yellow C6! It would go well with a black front lip and side thingys.
