Is anybody else having XM issues. Sometimes it sounds like an old AM transistor radio. Today was one of those days. All the stations came in but they were flat.

flat hell....how about the freakin DJ's and comercials
XM sounded better than the previous portable Siruis unit I had, BUT a CD sounds better, what's this digital stuff with XM. Is their source material and player, transmitter equipment that bad, I think so?
If you're switching between different bands (FM1, FM2, XM1, XM2, etc) do you have the tone controls set differently? Each band can be programmed separately.
IMHO SIRIUS sounds better than XM and I agree, CD's or IPOD with uncompressed WAV files, sound better than either SAT Radio format.

Thanks for your tip; unfortunately, I spent a bunch of time setting them all the same on each band and station.
