c6 engine
Please tell me a C6 ls2 engine from 2005 are fix on 2007 c6.. Im from Romania and my engine its damage end i whant to buy a engine from usa and a guy from the shop tell me that he don't now if are fix to my car.. But I think its same engine.. Thank you..

C6 Engine differences
The 2005 LS2 engine is different than later model LS2 engines. The 2005 has a different size reluctor wheel which may be changed or a conversion kit which allows you to use the later model engine. I believe that some aftermarket manufacturers make a conversion kit which enables this to be done.

LS2 Engines
I believe that Lingenfelter sells the adaptor kit which will adapt your 2005 to a later model LS2 engine. You can purchase a crate LS2 engine for around $6000. There may be some restrictions on overseas shipping, but you may want to contact Gene Culley at Gene@GMPartshouse.com for replacement engines. I have done a lot of business with Gene, as many of us have, and he's a great vendor. Hope this works for you.
