Looking to install the NPP mufflers on my 07 coupe auto, (I bought the car with flowmasters on it which I like at idle and when pulling away from a stop but when cruising with my wife the dreaded drone gets a little anoying) does anyone have the p/n's of the mufflers necessary for the install, and what year mufflers work, is it true they changed them for the 09's.
Thanks
Chalie
C6 '08 Factory NPP's are the only ones that fit w/o modifications. With Z06 NPP's, you'll need to use your overaxle pipes and weld them to the muffler's. Later C6 NPP's have a different hanger system. The C6 NPP's sound better than the Z06's IMHO.
I went with the NPPs on my 05 (with the M2W controller). Found the mufflers right here in the Parts section (but it did take looking constantly for a few days). New ones are too much $$ IMHO. As far as I know, only the 08's will fit correctly.

The ZO6 Bi-Mode mufflers are NOT NPP, you can cut and weld the pipes, and it STILL will not sound like the NPP...the ZO6 are quiet when open...they have a perferated baffle inside... NIGHT & DAY.
And yes, only the 2008 will bolt right on... You can find Take-off's for less than the NEW price of $1500-1800... E-Bay... normal with NPP in a box goes for $1099... FYI
