Yeah, I'll be honest, the fit isn't 100% perfect. The ends of the hood dip down lower than the fender by about a quarter of an inch. That's what happens when you get carbon fiber. It's not Going to fit perfectly like OEM. I've talked to some other owners of this hood, they've never reported any problems with water and the vents. Mine came with the water trays but I elected to take them out. With the trays in, it significantly reduces the hoods ability to release hot air. Releasing hot air from the engine was my primary reason for purchasing this hood, and I have noticed a drop in overall operating temps (10-12) degrees. Again, since carbon fiber isn't perfect, it needed much prep work to make it look perfectly smooth when painted. That being said, the hood cost $1000 to prep and paint, with 3 layers of clear coat.

[QUOTE=C6_blackhawk;1572144715]Well, the new hood finally got finished. Its a High-tech Custom Carbon fiber hood, and then I had it painted... but wanted to leave a little carbon fiber showing.
