Long term storage
I will be deploying for approx 1.5 years starting next month. I do not want to run a trickle charge on my 2007 C6 for that long. Is it ok to simply disconnect the battery? Will everything work when I hook back up again? Do I need codes etc?

I think the only things you will need to do are, re-index the windows and reset the radio pre sets.
Put some stabil in the tank and circulate to real the injectors.Remove the battery and place the battery on a thick piece of wood and keep indoors.

Agree with all the above plus do an oil change just before you put it away with new filter. And, assuming you're in a very rodent-free storage, that would be good. If not, there are things to be done to hopefully prevent them from doing their "job" on your car.
