I just have to ask what you are doing that tears up the bumper that badly? Inquiring minds need to know.

THAT's what this reminds me of . . . A safety razor . . . .

I like what you have done and the scrapes should be on the bottom not the edge, will really look good when powder coated

Dudes bumper was already torn pretty bad underneath. C6 body parts are fairly cheap (compared to C5 and C4's). 150-300 for a new front bumper.

I've got another idea for the leading edge if you keep it exposed. Now this is just an idea mind you. You could always use some thin grooved black trim around the full length. With the right adhesive, I think it would stay on.

I'm rather curious about your license plate as well. I don't know a lot, but that seems like an odd place to mount it.

Well its funny actually that most are asking about the license plate. Its not actually the real license plate its vinyl a friend of mine made it so i stick it instead of making holes in my bumper It really looks like the real thing its noticeable if ur 1 foot away.

Update on the splitter its holding out really good and had slight scratches cuz of an enormous driveway and i actually surprised that it didn't do anything to splitter probably if i didn't have the piece i would destroyed the bumper but now i know its doing its job
I just had too to see how good it was

Ahh, it looks like your car is lowered so i can see it would scrape more than stock height. I feel a bit better now .

Me too - but it would be nice if the OP could confirm how "slammed" his car is...

hey guys - I don't know about the OPs ride height - but mine is lowered on the stock bolts all the way down and occasionally scrape the underside. I have yet to scrape the front portion like his (knock on wood).

If your car isn't lowered, you shouldn't have many issues with scraping.

Like Daniel stated anybody with stock hieght will be fine. My car is lowered but not slammed. The front is lower than the rear.

I hope that cleared up

you know, if that were made of the same material as the air dam instead of aluminum it would probably be better.

The sagging part is the bumper i think the shop did installed the grill didnt do that good of a job he the bolt of grill is sitting to high its putting pressure on the bumper that made look wavy.

I will be going back to the shop for them to fix it cuz i know they need time and will keep the car overnight so i keep it last.

Well if i did that i will loss the main point of my cause.

If i made it from the same material they use it would been weak and scrape same way my bumper did and if your worried about the weight I think its so light that it wont be that much of a difference.

I can assure you that my bumper will break before my splitter does if it hits something and that scares me in someway

They need to fold the screen over the entire opening and use either dble-sided tape or an adhesive to make sure the bumper holds it's shape.

Let me know if you need more grill material or the Z style grills.
