Default Callaway Intake

Would installing a Callaway Honker intake void my warranty on my 2009 LS3? I really want to get it but don't want to void the warranty. The catback will get installed no problem they told me but intake i thought was borderline. Thanks for all information given

Depends on the dealer, but yes it can.

Do some serious research before thinking about a CAI. Remember our 2009LS3 intake system with Hitachi MAF meter is quite nice, well designed.

I'm just going to isolate the air intake from the engine heat with a box, open up the radiatior shroud, and save $$ for exhaust improvements.

The isolation and that other stuff seems a lil risky to do with a new car. I only want quality stuff done to the car. Good luck with your plan............I may just do a Cat-back for some tone and let it be.

Had my C6 in the GM service shop many times and not one comment from the service manager, etc. Nothing on my repair orders.

I had one put on and no problems from my dealership. Unless the problem is directly linked to the intake a good dealership won't care. Plus the Callaway looks close to the stock intake.
