If you have a Stihl, and live in an area without noice ordances, un-screw the core, out of the muffler.
It will run better, increase the CFM, and velocity, however it will ring your ears
Will dry a car, really fast.
Don't use a leaf blower. Living in AZ don't have any leaves to justify buying one for just my Corvette. Instead have an air compressor. Blows water out of all the little hidden places on the Vette, the Jeep and the Harley. Plus I can constantly maintain tire pressure.
And if I so desire, I can paint something, wrench something off, or blow all the sweat off my body while cleaning all of the above in July.
Cost of a good air compressor, for all of the added value over "leaf blowing and Corvette drying" is worth considering.

unless you already have the leaf blower. But if your buying one just for this, I would have to say get a compressor instead.
I used to use a leaf blower and then I switched to a product called a Air Force Master Blaster dryer. This thing absolutely kicks a leaf blowers butt for power or drying ability. High speed (variable) and heated air for a great combination to get the car amazingly dry and in a shorter perior of time. I always found that I needed to towel dry even after I was done with the leaf blower but not the case any longer with the Master Blaster. It also does a great job of getting the residual water out of the side mirrors and tail lights.

100%!! The Master Blaster is not cheap, but neither was my Vette. It is just amazing how well it works. There is no dobut that some leaf blowers will work, but the Master Blaster produces heated air that actually dries the car rather than just pushing the water around. I have had mine for over a year and love it. No towel has ever touched my car for drying since I got it (unless I was out of town and had to wash it which has only been 1 or 2 times). Works even better on the Harley!
Try your leaf blower, then try a more powerful leaf blower and when you are still aggrevated, get a Master Blaster!
I bought an electric Toro on clearance (last years model) and fitted it with a flexible shop vac hose. Can't beat the price, at less than a hundred bucks. And it works great
