Default I am thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!! the new roof is here

came in early. weather finally cleared up here and got to drive the vette with the new roof for the first time. I can't believe I was so stupid not to order this option when I got the car.. its absolutely awesome!!!

so for those that have not seen any "good" pics of it.. here some...

The thing that amazes me is how it looks like the stock painted black roof on the outside... of course, it's got 3 layers of zaino's z5pro and zfx on it now...LOL...

Looking good as always!

I love my transparent roof and use it almost all the time. Only time I ever use the painted roof is for the hotter weeks of the summer, as it keeps the interior a bit cooler.

We picked up my used 06 C6 with it's dual roof package in Florida (about 1000 miles from here). Did a one way rental down and drove the car back. Painted roof was on, with the clear roof in the back. I got a little over half way back home and told my wife that I'd thought I'd swap in the clear roof while we were staying overnight in our hotel. Next morning my wife gets in the car (keep in mind she's got a 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible) and goes, "Wow, look at this view!" "And hey, I don't have to tie my hair back, and on and on... Needless to say she hasn't let me put the painted top back on since! Doesn't really get too hot here so we can keep them in year round.

The thing that makes it really nice is it allows the sunlight inside the cabin. In the summertime this equals slowly baking the driver But in the wintertime the cabin stays nice and warm and you can drive without using the heater most of the time.
