I am looking at putting a vette back in the garage and, for the most part, have been looking at picking up a C4 that I could buy out right. Well today I was surfing the web and found a nice 07 coupe with `12,000 miles, hud, auto, heated seats, factory chrome 5 spoke rims, and no NAV. I took it out for a test drive and it looks, runs, and drives great. They are asking 31,900 for the car.... The only flaw I noticed was a little overspray on the seal for the hood. When I asked why this car has had some paint work, the dealer informed me that the original owner ( 1 owner car) had bumped something and had the front bumper replaced. This info is also shown on carfax.
If I end up getting this car, I will have to trade my Jeep in, and I don't have a problem with that... I only live 2 miles from work and with my location, the weather is never that bad that I couldn't make it. My problem is trying to establish a fair market price on the vette. I know that one day I will sell it to buy another (just like everyone else). So, of course people will discount the price of the car then... When I check KBB, it says the car is worth ~37K.... Any advise you could give would be appreciated...
Have it checked by an independent collision shop before you do anything else. You want to know the true extent of the damage and the quality of the repair ( already questionable).

Very sound advice. He knows what he's talking about it, so do it if you're serious about the car.
