Fast turn signal (left side)
2005, stock. Just got it 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed the left blinker now operates twice as fast as normal. Now I read that it could be a bad bulb for a C5, but haven't seen anything about a C6 with this issue. I'm at work and haven't been able to check for a bulb yet.
If it's not a bulb...I thought I read that the C6's turn signals are computer controlled. No flasher?
Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to my 05. Most likely burnt out bulb. Solution below courtesy of "Shopdog". It worked for me with patience and persistence. Did not need to remove wheels, but would definitely make it easier. Good luck.
From Shopdog:
There are 3 sockets, the things with wires coming out of them, which are exposed when you open the flap. The one furtherest to the outside of the car is the one for the turn signals/DRL. Feel around on it with your fingers down near where it enters the reflector housing. You should feel a projection. That is the tab. Depress it, then the socket should turn fairly easily in the reflector housing. One quarter turn will unlock it, and you should be able to easily pull it out. Don't use excessive force. If it won't come out with normal force, you don't have it unlocked properly. Sometimes you have to jiggle it a bit to make it come free.

Check the bulb. I'l bet all you have to do is clean the socket with some sandpaper, Replace the bulb and add some dialectric silicone.
**** poor design that's been around for some time on GM cars.

faulty blinker/parking light
I'm having the same problem with my 99. First, the front left blinker/parking light wasn't working at all. I replaced the bulb, now only then parking light works when the headlights are on but not when they're off and blinker is still a no-go. any solutions?

Get the updated Wagner 5702KA bulb which uses less plastic on the base of the bulb which reduces heat transfer to the socket.

Clean the socket. Try sanding the socket contacts. Add some dialectric silicone to the socket and bulb.
