I think my climate control system is acting up. I set the temperature at 65 with an outside temp of 50. Coolant temp is around 190. Turn a/c off, set auto with floor and dash vents on. Blows cold air. Any one else experience this?

You set the temp to 65. It blows cold air. What do you expect?
If you want warm air, raise the temp setting.
Maybe it was hotter than 65 in the cockpit. And the controller attempts to account for heat generated by solar radiation: Whilst it may be cold outside, it could be warmer in your car without heat.

The biggest factor in the system's decision making is the inside temp, not the outside temp. If you leave the car parked in the sun, the cabin is going to get hot, even though the outside temp is only 50, so the system will try to compensate for that.
Also, the sunload sensor comes into play (if there is one in your system). Anyone know if there's a sunload sensor in the system for the Vette? Someimtes it's buried in the same sensor that is used to detemine amount of sunlight for the autolamps.
Guess I left some info. out. Car parked under cover all day when temp reached high 60's. Drove car less than one mile. Car parked three hours in the dark (sun down, moon out). Returned to car. Cold enough inside car to need jacket. Drove car with window rolled down. Outside temp registered 51. Still blowing cold air, whether on vent or front defrost.
