Has anyone out there had any experience with Cartek in New Jersey? I am simply looking for feedback, good, bad, or indifferent.

I have heard they are the best, but my opinion may be a little biased.

Feel free to give us a call.

Thanks,
Max

This should answer your question if they are good. It just answered mine.

Great service, fair prices, only go there if you want your car to perform.

I just did, because of your post, and I saw something negative on another forum. When I read it, I quote,

"Good to see Carteks response. I have known about them for years and could not see them pulling something like they were accused of. Glad to see it cleared up! Sad thing is people like that moron with the Vette will always convince others he is right and it will still cost Cartek business ."

I guess this sort of thing happens on other forums but I would like to think that the truth eventually comes out. It seems it finally did.

I had an issue with their shop. Will never go back after their t-stat/tune on my former 07 C6. Unlike the guys that live close by, I'm 4 hours away and unable to drop by their shop to fix the tune......when a hacked up t-stat was discovered as part of the problem, that about did it for me. I was running 150 degrees on the highway with a fully warmed up engine....then at a stop my fans would come on FULL BLAST once temps reached 190ish, sounded like a plane about to take off. I'm sure that repeated multiple 50 degree swing each time I drove the car and my fans running ***** out was just fine and dandy.

Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester fixed my tune, put a real t-stat in the car and took time to make my car right. I highly suggest his shop.

I've been a loyal customer for 10 years now , I never could have taken my car into the 8's in a fully streetable set up without Cartek's knowledge of the LSX powerplant and tuning . My car was the first naturally aspirated C5 in the 9's way back in 2004 , they have set numerous records at the track , where it counts , as well as having tons of fast , reliable street performers , good luck in your choice .
