Saw your car a couple of times today as it came down the line. It had just been fitted with it's Comp Gray wheels as the line came to a halt today. It will be off the line Monday morning.
Saw your Photo Album guy too, watching over it like a starving Pittbull looks over a porkchop.
Just museum delivery cars. All others go out whenever they can fill up a truck.
By the way, I learned that museum cars are pretty much delivered to the museum as soon as the factory releases them. I was under the impression that it was because Allied delivered the cars to a Bowling Green Chevy dealer, who then turned them over. That hasn't been the case for years.
It's actually the museum (not the factory) that initiates the 2-week lag time from build date to delivery date. They do so to give themselves plenty of time to ensure that the car is perfect before delivery to the buyer.
