Default Question about mats

Well I just took delivery of a 2006 coupe. No floor mats. Anybody have any extras for sale or know anywhere to get a set cheap?

The cheapest would be to go to a local auto parts store and get a set of universal mats until you can get a better set. Next would be the GM OE mats, followed by the best options which are Lloyd's or Stratmosphere mats.

Be aware that GM changed the way the OEM mats connected to the pegs in the footwell in the middle of the model year 2006. You can no longer buy GM mats that will connect correctly.

Look in the footwells to see what the connecting pegs look like and look closely at how the mats you're going to purchase will connect to those mats.

I carry the entire line of Lloyd's Mats. There are the original Lloyd's as well as a new economy line that features the same great quality and embroidery, with a slightly thinner mat surface.

I'm at home now, but if you'd like to have me call you - we can both get on Lloyd's web site and pick out the perfect mats for you, with your choice of logos. If you'd like to PM your contact information to me, I will give you a call at the time you deem convenient.

Of course, you're welcome to call me at either number listed in my signature, too!

where in Houston are you? I have a set of OEM in black (ebony) that you can have if they will fit the mounting in your '06.

do you know what type mounting you have? if its the same as the '08, I can meet you half way. I am out in Magnolia about 55 miles and 1+ hours away from Baytown.

mountings changed in 2007 from post to dual hooks. I have he dual hooks model. if you still want, PM me and we can arrange to get them to you.
