I have a early production 08 with the Z51 option and there are no zerks to be found. I inquired about lubing them the last time the car was on the lift at ECS and there was none to be found...mine were all sealed.

I'll look again but i doubt I have any on my 2006 F55 optioned car. Maybe applicable to Z51 cars with F55, which I didn't think they made until quite recently? But not all F55!

My post was not a statement but, one of observation regarding as to why this early production 08 Z51 (number 423) are sealed. Perhaps others with early numbers may be sealed...there were some minor changes from the early run to later.

I don't doubt you witnessed zerks on Vettes but, Chris (co-owner of ECS), the Tech who built the engine including myself didn't see any zerks as all three of us examined all rear suspension components as the car was on the lift.

BTW: I have an 08, Dec. 2007 build, with the zerks.

Burning Brakes
I have an early '08 Z51 built in Aug '07 and I have the grease fittings. They are a little hard to see as they are very close to the backside of the rear rotor. One note of caution, if you track your car and work the brakes hard be sure to do a cool down lap as there have been occasions of melted rubber bushings from the rotor heat. This would generally not be covered under warranty.

NO Z51 grease fittings
Several previous posts regarding lack of zerk fittings on Z51s. My 2008 Dec 2007 build has no fittings. Not sure if due to lack of parts or errors on assemby line.

I just went out & checked my 08 Z51, Number 1067, built in July of 2007.
It does have the zerk fittings.
You have to look inside the back of the rear wheel, directly behind the brake rotor.

The rear zerks on the toe=links can be easily reached from underneath the rear of the car, or from outside, thru the openings in the rims. Better yet, replace the OEM zerks with 90 degree fittings to more easily facilitate attaching the snap fitting on the end of the rubber hose on the grease gun. Use synthetic grease, as per the manual.

And you will not find them a second time on your 2006 F55. F55 didn't get the bigger cross drilled rotors and rear grease zerks until MY2007. This was a public news release from GM starting with the introduction of the MY2007 cars as a standard feature if you ordered an F55 car.

As several have previously mentioned, the zeros on certain optioned Vettes are located on the outer end of the tie rod. However, they are located on the bottom side so orare difficult to see if you were just looking at them from the wheel-side of the car. I did not find mine until I took my hand and filled the underside of the tie rod.

Here is the zerk fitting(circled) at the rear on the car. One on each side (left,right)...I lube mine every year.
