Need some help here...
What I 'REALLY' want is a new 09 Z06, and have been shopping around for a decent deal. I think I've found one..but with one catch:
The only way the guy can give me this deal is with a GMS number. I am fairly clueless about the program, the only thing the dealer told me was that it is for former GM employees. I don't know much about the process, and I hope I'm not insulting anyone by even asking about this.
So I have a couple of questions:
Is this a good deal? I think it is but I'm not sure:
the MSRP is 75k (base model Z06) and the deal is $62,745 with the 0% for 60/72 months. (that is with the GMS number)
Good deal or no?
Second question: is it possible to find a GMS number or is asking that question 'taboo' around here?
Again, if this isn't cool, I apologize in advance.
If anyone has any questions, and/or suggestions, feel free to email me.

I think the GMS is for retired GM employees and their families...
You can check out the following to see how far the offer extends :

There are plenty of 2009 = Z06's sitting in dealers lots. 563 from the listing at jeff hardy....
Try the Jeff Hardy website
http://jeffhardy.com/db_vette_access09.php
and see if you can find the car you are looking for...it's a great resource......contact the dealer and see what kind of deal they will give you.....Let your keyboard do the walking for you.....A few months ago I wanted to add the extended GMPP to my 06 vette....I did some research on the web and ended up buying the plan through Les Stanford Chevrolet in Michigan at a real great price. I had quote from $1570 to $940....a real spread...
I would think at this time of the year there are some good deals out there....
Don't forget....If you can get a good deal it may be worth a plane ticket to go and pick it up....Some dealers ( Tommy Jr at MacMulkin chevrolet in NH...will give you a temporary plate to drive home in..He has been getting a lot of good reviews on the fourm....I would give him a shout....
Good luck and enjoy your new Corvette.......
